Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania to pay working visit to Chișinău

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Kęstutis Budrys will pay a working visit to the Republic of Moldova on 6 February.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit aims to strengthen Moldovan-Lithuanian bilateral relations, deepen the political dialogue and reaffirm Lithuania’s support for the European path of the Republic of Moldova, including in the context of regional and security developments.

During the visit, the Lithuanian official will hold meetings with President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Alexandru Munteanu, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The foreign ministers will hold a joint press conference on 6 February between 12:35 and 12:55 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Lithuania were established on 8 July 1992.
