Foreign affairs minister meets Polish Ambassador to Moldova
Poland is a reliable partner that has stood by us in all our efforts, both through the technical assistance provided and through its experience in implementing the reform agenda. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi has made statements to this effect during a meeting with Ambassador of Poland to Moldova Tomasz Kobzdej.
The meeting took place in the context of the end of the diplomat’s mandate in Chisinau. The Moldovan diplomacy head thanked the ambassador for his work and for his contribution to strengthening the relations between the two countries, as well as for the constant support provided to the European integration of Moldova.
The official highlighted the dynamics of the Moldovan-Polish political dialogue in recent years, both at parliamentary and governmental levels, including the results achieved in terms of cooperation in the fields of defense, security, economy and investments.
“We thank you for your active involvement in deepening cooperation between our states and for the support offered to Moldova at important moments. Poland has been and remains a reliable partner that has stood by us in all our efforts, both through the technical assistance provided and through its experience in implementing the reform agenda. We continue to rely on this support, in order to open the next negotiation clusters and to advance the accession process, based on our own merits,” said Mihai Popsoi.
For his part, Tomasz Kobzdej expressed confidence that the partnership and good relations between Moldova and Poland would continue to be strengthened through new initiatives and concrete results, to the benefit of the citizens of both states.
