PHOTO, VIDEO // Moldovan president welcomed by Irish counterpart in Dublin
President Maia Sandu was welcomed in Dublin by the President of Ireland, Catherine Connolly in Dublin today. During a meeting, they will discuss strengthening bilateral relations and support for the European path of Moldova, in the context of Ireland taking over the presidency of the Council of the European Union starting from 1 July, 2026.
The visit’s agenda also includes meetings with Prime Minister Micheál Martin and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris.
In addition, the head of state will hold meetings in the Irish Parliament and will take part in a public discussion at the Trinity College Dublin. Also in Dublin, Maia Sandu will also meet with Moldovans living in Ireland. Video: https://www.facebook.com/reel/2468848413535900/
