All restrictions on trucks and buses lifted at border

All restrictions on the movement of trucks, heavy-duty vehicles and passenger transport vehicles through customs posts have been lifted. The measure applies to both the Moldovan-Ukrainian and the Moldovan-Romanian borders.

According to border authorities, traffic through the crossing points is taking place under normal conditions, after a period in which limitations were imposed due to weather conditions.

Representatives of the Customs Service and the Border Police recommend that road users find out in advance about road conditions and the situation at customs posts, avoid non-essential travel and properly equip their vehicles for the cold season.

The responsible institutions note that they continue to monitor the situation and will intervene promptly if necessary.

Yesterday, traffic restrictions for trucks and buses were imposed on several routes leading to border crossing points with both Ukraine and Romania, due to bad weather.
