Parliamentary hearings in Moldova: interior minister to present report on combating use, trafficking of drugs
The parliament will hold hearings on the policies and measures implemented by the Interior (MAI) in the field of preventing and combating drug use and trafficking. Interior Minister Daniella Misail-Nichitin will present the report at the plenary meeting of the parliament on February 26.
Today, the standing bureau approved a supplement to the agenda for the plenary meeting due on February 19. Thus, the parliament will ratify a grant provided by Japan for the modernization of the company Teleradio-Moldova and will appoint a member to the Board of Directors of the Deposit Guarantee Fund in the banking system. The MPs will also examine amendments to the Tax Code, to the parliament decision on parliamentary friendship groups, as well as to certain normative acts aimed at strengthening the security of judges.
At the same time, at the meeting on February 19, a simple motion will be considered on the state policy in the energy sector, energy security in relation to the need to protect consumers and ensure tariffs’ stability.
The parliament’s plenary meeting will start at 11:00. The draft agenda can be consulted on the Legislature’s website.
