Heavy freight traffic restricted all over Moldova

The heavy freight traffic has been restricted across the entire territory of Moldova. The measure will be in force until today at 22:00.

According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), the decision was taken to allow specialized services to intervene efficiently, in the context of unfavorable weather conditions.

Given the difficult weather conditions, the authorities recommend that drivers avoid travelling unless strictly necessary, exercise increased caution in traffic and adjust their speed to road conditions.

People are also urged to follow official sources, in order to stay up to date with information on road conditions and any restrictions.
