As many as 1,854 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 10,102 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,854 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 7 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 492,604 COVID cases have been recorded so far.
Health Ministry (MS), 62 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (9 physicians, 35 medical assistants, 18 auxiliary staff employees).
As many as 1,776 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 122 are in extremely serious condition and 12 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 14,300 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,517 are under supervision at home.
Another 4,155 people have been treated. As many as 458,066 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 27 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 11,068 people have died of coronavirus in all.
