
As many as 347 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 11 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,983 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 347 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 507,028 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.
According to the Health Ministry (MS), 31 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (5 physicians, 16 medical assistants, 10 auxiliary staff employees).
As many as 585 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 85 are in extremely serious condition and 6 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 3,471 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 7,481 are under supervision at home.
Another 1,547 people have been treated. As many as 488,198 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 14 death triggered by COVID-19 and 11,333 people have died of coronavirus in all.
