Digital innovation in healthcare services
The Republic of Moldova will officially launch HealthTech Hub, a national platform dedicated to innovation and internationalization in the healthcare field. The signing event for the collaboration memorandum to create this hub will take place on 8 August in the courtyard of the Central Block of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemițanu".
HealthTech Hub is a strategic initiative aimed at supporting the digitization and modernization of Moldova's healthcare system by promoting interdisciplinary research, implementing advanced technologies and supporting health startups.
The project is carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Research, Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF) and the Development Foundation of the Republic of Moldova.
HealthTech Hub will act as a regional catalyst for digital medical technologies, artificial intelligence and smart medical devices. One of the main goals is to attract investments and integrate the Republic of Moldova into global innovation networks in the health sector.
According to "Nicolae Testemițanu" USMF, representatives from central public authorities, the academic and entrepreneurial community, international partners and civil society actors are expected at the launch event.
