Epidemiological situation in Chisinau still serious

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/- The incidence of COVID-19 cases in Chisinau is decreasing.

The head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health, Tatiana Bucearschi, said today at the online meeting of the municipal services that the incidence of coronavirus cases per thousand inhabitants reached 1,295 cases, less than in November when there were 1,372 cases per thousand inhabitants.

At the same time, the official said that out of 1,172 existing treatment places in municipal hospitals, 942 are full.

Bucearschi urged Chisinau residents to comply with the protection rules against COVID-19 as the health situation remains serious.
