
Fulger special battalion of Moldova to have new employees
Chisinau, 3 May /MOLDPRES/ - Commander of the National Army Eduard Ohladciuc and a brigade general, Sergiu Cirimpei, at a today’s festive ceremony, handed the Green Beret, the Special Forces badge and diplomas to a new series of graduates of the qualification course for the Special Forces.
At the ceremony, general Ohladciuc congratulated the servicemen had gone through all trainings, examinations and tests and who are prepared in accordance with a model elaborated by the leadership of the Fulger Special Battalion (BDS), based on the best international practices in the field.
According to the commandant of BDS Fulger, Constantin Cisleanu, the qualification course for the Special Forces, which lasted three months, comprised four modules held at more shooting ranges of the National Army. The schedule of the training included: marches, sessions for learning operation techniques and tactics, military topography, alpine training, crossing of rivers, survival, medical and military training, etc.
The Defence Ministry reiterates that only contract servicemen of the National Army can participate in the concerned course; they will get positions in BDS Fulger after the training sessions are finished.
