
Government allocated about 3 million lei for mitigating consequences of emergency situations in June 2024, May 2025
Today the government decided to allocate 2.927 million lei for mitigating the consequences of emergency situations in June 2024 and May 2025.
The funds will be directed to local authorities in several villages in the districts of Orhei, Strășeni, Hâncești, and Râșcani, which suffered damages following the torrential rains in the summer of 2024 and the spring of this year.
Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin said that the financial resources will allow authorities to rehabilitate the infrastructure facilities that suffered due to the weather events.
In June 2024, the villages of Brăviceni, Zahoreni and Seliște, Orhei district were affected by a storm accompanied by heavy rains, which destroyed several road sections.
Additionally, in May 2025, the torrential rains damaged the roof of the Anton Bunduchi Gymnasium in the village of Buțeni, Hâncești district, and destroyed road sections in the village of Dolna, Strășeni district, and the village of Singureni, Râșcani district.
