Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/- Heads of several public authorities under parliamentary control will be sanctioned, until their dismissal, in case of improper execution of the delegated attributions according to the legislation or of defective exercise of the activity. A draft law amending some normative acts, including the Law on National Financial Market Commission and the Competition Law was voted by the Parliament today.

The draft targets the National Financial Market Commission, the Competition Council, the National Agency for Solving Complaints, the Audiovisual Council, the National Agency for Energy Regulation.

According to MPs, the granting of the Parliament the right to dismiss from office the members of the autonomous public authorities following the hearing of the annual activity reports comes to hold the governing bodies of these authorities accountable to the Legislature.
