
Moldova, Romania initiate partnership to enhance emergency services 112
112 emergency service in Moldova and the National Unique System for Emergency Calls 112 of Romania have initiated a bilateral collaboration aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation and exchanging experience in the field of emergencies. The announcement was made following a joint meeting attended by the heads of the two institutions.
Florin Fetic, head of the 112 Unit in Romania, mentioned that Romania actively supports the development of this collaboration by sharing the expertise.
Anatolie Viniciuc, interim director of the 112 Service in Moldova, emphasized the importance of exchanging experience.
“Strengthening collaboration with partners from Romania is essential for the development of the 112 Service in Moldova. We aim for an efficient, citizen-centered service,” said the cited source.
The two announced that the initiative aims to create a sustainable partnership to enhance the operational capabilities of the 112 systems in both countries and improve the quality of interventions in emergencies.
Officials expressed confidence that the bilateral agreement will be formalized soon and that the partnership will significantly contribute to improving the quality of emergency services offered to citizens.
