
Moldovan capital's city hall launches repeated tender for purchasing of new buses
Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall today started a repeated tender for the purchasing of 100 new buses.
The announcement on the tender was published on the platform www.achizitii.md and is to be published in the Official Journal of the European Union. Under the legal norms, the tender will last 35 days.
The requirements submitted by the city hall for the procurement of the transport means deal with the technical features – the buses must be new, with a minimal length of 12 metres, endowed with supervision systems inside and outside, as well as air conditioning systems. The ecological class of the new transport units should be of at least Euro 5. The consignment of buses must be delivered to Chisinau in a period of six months after the signing of the contract on acquisition. The sum provided for the consignment of 100 new buses is of 270 million lei.
It is for the second time when the Chisinau public administration launches an international tender for the procurement of a consignment of 100 buses. The results of the first tender, held in 2020, were cancelled.
