
Moldovan interior ministry employees to work on full time basis during Easter holidays
Chisinau, 20 April /MOLDPRES/- All structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will work on full time basis during Easter holidays, and the number of staff involved will increase.
General Inspectorate of Police head Viorel Cernăuțeanu said at a today's briefing that the number of employees involved in maintaining public order will be increased by over 30 percent. The number of traffic police crews will also increase.
He reminded drivers of the need to comply with the traffic regulations and urged citizens to be careful not to post information about unsupervised goods on social networks when leaving home.
IGSU head Alexandru Oprea also urged citizens to be careful when using the fire, especially of the candles traditionally lit in the holy places. He warned the leaders of the places of worship to observe the fire-fighting rules on the night of the Resurrection and to keep the access roads to the churches open.
