Moldovan PM says Satoshi at Eurovision managed to convey to Europe an honest image of Moldova

Through “Viva, Moldova!”, Satoshi managed to bring together people at home and in the Diaspora. He showed Europe an honest, courageous and energetic image of Moldova at Eurovision. Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu today conveyed a message to this effect, following a meeting with Satoshi.

According to the official, the performer showed that talent, hard work and authenticity can make a country’s voice heard by millions of people.

“Today, I was glad to meet Satoshi, after his extraordinary journey at Eurovision. Through ‘Viva, Moldova!’, he managed to convey to Europe an honest, courageous and energetic image of our country. Moldova needs young people who believe in it, represent it with dignity and inspire a new generation to dream bigger and to have confidence in their own strength. Vlad, we are proud of you!”, noted Alexandru Munteanu.

Moldova, represented by Satoshi with the song “Viva, Moldova!”, ranked eighth at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The victory was claimed by Bulgaria. The country’s representative, DARA, triumphed with the song “Bangaranga”. Second place went to Israel with the song “Michelle”. Romania, represented by Alexandra Capitanescu, with the song “Choke Me”, came in third.
