
Moldova's Border Police marks professional day
Chisinau, 10 June /MOLDPRES/ - Twenty border policemen have received watches with inscriptions with symbols of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police (IGPF), on the occasion of marking the 29th anniversary of the institution’s foundation.
The border policemen celebrate their professional day on 10 June. On this occasion, the acting head of the Border Police, Petru Corduneanu, submitted a congratulation to the Moldovan border guards, noting that ‘’the Border Police is an entity of major importance in the state, with special traditions, with devoted and professional people.’’
Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today conveyed a message on the occasion of the border guards’ professional holiday as well.
Also, at a ceremony, more border policemen, as well as border veterans received distinctions of the Interior Ministry and of IGPF, including special ranks before term and IGPF’s development partners will be awarded medals for cooperation.
At the same time, 20 border policemen will receive valuable presents – watches with inscriptions of IGPF symbols.
For the entire 20211 year, over 130,000 lei was allocated from the Border Police’s budget for the purchasing of valuable presents, due to be offered to employees at national and professional holidays.
