Over 1,800 people find jobs in Moldova in last January with the help of National Employment Agency
Over 1,800 people were assisted by the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) in finding a job in last January. Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu has unveiled figures to this end.
The authorities aim to employ approximately 20,000 people in 2025.
“Friends, we work to help our citizens get employed! In January, we helped 1,816 people find a job. For this year, we aim to help 20,000 people find employment. I thank the colleagues from the National Employment Agency for this result,” stated Minister Alexei Buzu.
Throughout 2024, 16,699 people were employed through territorial employment subdivisions.
ANOFM recommends that individuals searching for a job contact one of the territorial employment subdivisions (STOFM), in order to benefit from support at employment.
The services are free and are meant both for job seekers (with or without unemployment status) and for employed individuals who want to change their jobs.
Registered unemployed individuals at the territorial employment subdivisions (STOFM) can benefit from support, as well as from active services and measures which enhance employment opportunities.
