Traffic on multiple routes across the country has been halted due to slippery road surfaces. Weather conditions are creating an increased risk of road accidents and slips for pedestrians.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, traffic is blocked on Fetești–Edineț route, while on Gașpar–Edineț route the road surface is extremely slippery. Also, on the M-3 route, in the direction of the village of Răzeni, Ialoveni district, road traffic is suspended.
At the same time, traffic on the M-1 route, on the segment between the localities of Pănășești and Căpriana, Strășeni district is temporarily blocked. Likewise, on the M-5 route, in the area of Negrești–Greblești intersection, traffic has been halted.
In Pojăreni, Ialoveni district, the road surface is extremely slippery, creating a high risk of road accidents and slips for pedestrians. Traffic is also difficult on the M-5 route, at km 215, near the locality of Bravicea in Călărași district. Additionally, in Sângera, the carriageway is extremely slippery.
On G-26 route, Glodeni–Râșcani, the road surface is extremely slippery, and the R 26 route, Bender–Căușeni–Cimișlia is blocked. Road traffic is also blocked in the localities of Puhoi and Gangura in Ialoveni district. A similar situation is reported at the exit from Șireți towards the M-5 highway.
