Position of head of State Labour Inspectorate to become public office in Moldova
Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/ - The position of director of the State Labour Inspectorate will become public office. The MPs voted a draft law to this effect in the second reading today.
According to the authors, the working out of this draft was conditioned by the complexity of the tasks of the leadership of the State Labour Inspectorate on the period of the institution’s reformation and its providing with new powers.
„The State Labour Inspectorate, the authority in charge of the state control in the field of labour and labour health and security, is under reformation. The informal economy and the unregistered labour are major problems which hit the labour market and the social security system of Moldova,’’ reads the informative note to the draft.
