Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/- A quarter of the population of the Republic of Moldova was immunized with the full scheme against COVID-19. The data were made public today by the leadership of the Ministry of Health.
Secretary of State Svetlana Nicolaescu mentioned that the highest immunization rate is in the capital, about 38%. In the last week, the number of immunized people has increased significantly, only on weekends 5693 doses of vaccine were administered.
According to the quoted source, this fact is due to the information campaign carried out by the ministry with the support of several institutions. "26 vaccination points have been opened in stores. There were also 16 mobile immunization points. Over the weekend, teams of volunteers activated in 170 localities who informed and mobilized the population to be vaccinated ", said Nicolaescu.
