Moldovan parliament adopts rectification of 2026 state social insurances' budget

The parliament has passed the revision of the State Social Insurances Budget for 2026 in the second reading. The draft was prepared by the Labour and Social Protection Ministry, based on the implementation of the State Social Insurances’ Budget during the first six months of this year.

According to the document, the revenues and expenditures of the State Social Insurances’ Budget for 2026 will each increase by 1.37 billion lei and will exceed 52.82 billion lei.

Thus, the amounts allocated for the protection of persons with disabilities, older persons, families and children, as well as unemployment benefits will increase.

The adopted amendments will enter into force on the date of their publication in the Official Journal.
