Moldovan Superior Council of Magistracy approves report: judge of Centru Court of Appeal passes external evaluation
The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) today approved the reevaluation report drafted by the vetting commission and confirmed the passing of the external evaluation by a judge of the Central Court of Appeal, Igor Chirosca.
The reevaluation process was initiated after, in the previous stage, CSM had identified certain circumstances that were to be examined by the vetting commission.
Following the CSM's request, the judge submitted justificatory documents and additional explanations, which were analyzed by the Commission in a new verification procedure.
After examining the documents and hearing the subject, the Commission found that previous doubts were dispelled, and the judge meets the ethical and financial integrity criteria regarding the external evaluation.
Based on the Commission's conclusions, the CSM approved the reevaluation report and confirmed the passing of the external evaluation by magistrate Igor Chirosca.
