Truck registered in Moldova involved in traffic accident in Romania

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/ - A truck registered in Moldova today was involved in a traffic acceded which occurred in the Suceava county of Romania.

„The accident took place in the area of the Valea Putnei settlement, Suceava county. More crews of the Suceava Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and SMURD (Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication) arrived on the spot. Decision-makers of Moldova’s Consulate from Iasi remain in touch with the Romanian authorities, in order to provide consular assistance, depending on the needs.

Authorities recommend that drivers do not set out, if they have not equipped their vehicles with tyres specific to the winter season and follow announcements by local authorities on the conditions for travel.
