VIDEO // Use, possession of drugs: 11 cases detected in Chisinau in one week

The Patrolling and Rapid Reaction Battalion (BPRO) has detected 11 cases of drug use and possession in the Chisinau municipality within one week, following daily patrolling actions. According to the Police of Moldova, 10 individuals were documented according to the law.

According to BPRO, most cases were recorded in the Buiucani district, where four men aged between 18 and 30 years were found with synthetic drugs, such as 'PVP,' plant-based substances similar to hashish, as well as handmade objects used for consumption.

In the Centru district, police officers found three men aged between 33 and 38 with synthetic drugs 'PVP' and 'MDMA.' Another three people—two men and a woman, aged between 27 and 47 years—were documented in the Rascani district of the capital, being found with 'PVP,' plant-based substances and objects meant for drug use.

Another case was registered in the Botanica district, where a 33-year-old man was found with 'PVP' type drugs.

BPRO representatives say that all individuals were documented according to legal provisions, and the substances found were taken for expert analysis.
