
With support of Czech Republic, Intensive Care Unit of clinical hospital to be provided with new equipment
Chisinau, 6 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- The intensive care unit of the Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health will be equipped with 20 beds and other necessary medical devices. The cost of the equipment, amounting to more than 7,861,635 lei, will be paid by the Government of the Czech Republic.
This weekend, the leadership of the Ministry of Health signed a grant agreement with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Chisinau. Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco was also present at the event.
According to the quoted source, the endowment of the Intensive Care Unit will allow the Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health to provide high quality care to a larger number of patients, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
For his part, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Chisinau, Stanislav Kazecky, reiterated that his country is trying to be where it is needed.
Last year, also with the support of the Czech Republic, the intensive care unit of the Calarasi District Hospital and that of the Causeni District Hospital were equipped.
