Young people can benefit from paid internships in public institutions
Young people can benefit from paid internships in public institutions, as part of a program launched by the Government and the European Union Delegation. Applications can be submitted until 20 May.
Young people aged between 18 and 29, whether students or graduates, can apply for the program. They will have the opportunity to work in important state institutions: Government, Parliament, Presidency, ministries and agencies.
The internships last between two and six months, are paid, and those who finish with a 'very good' rating can be employed without competition in public positions.
'It's a real opportunity for young people to start a career in public service – even without previous professional experience,' Government spokesperson Daniel Vodă said.
So far, 268 young people have participated in the internships. Many of them have remained in the institutions where they completed their internships and continue to work for the good of the country, Daniel Vodă says.
'Young people in Moldova have ideas, energy and desire for change. Through this program, we widely open the doors of public institutions to allow young people to get involved, learn and contribute,' he said.
Applications can be submitted until 20 May at www.cariere.gov.md or www.eu4moldova.eu.
