Bronze medal for Moldova at U23 World Championships: canoeist Mihai Chihaia steps onto podium
Canoeist Mihai Chihaia from the Republic of Moldova won the bronze medal at the U23 World Championships.
The athlete from our country recorded a time of 2:03.70 over the 500-meter distance, being surpassed by Czech paddler Adam Rudolf (2:02.28) and China’s Jia Wang (2:03.42).
In the K4 500 meters event, the team made up of Lev Lunin, Maxim Rogut, Ivan Vladimirov, and Chirill Savcenco finished in 5th place.
It is taking place in Halifax, Canada.
