National football team lost 8-0 against Denmark
Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/- In the second match of the preliminaries of the 2022 World Cup, the national team lost with a huge score, 8-0, against the Danish national team, in a match played on Arena Herning.
The first half belonged entirely to the Danes, they opened the scoring through a penalty in the 19th minute. There were 20 minutes left in which the Danish team scored five more goals.
In the second half, the Danes scored two goals.
The match was led from the center by a referee from Azerbaijan, assisted by two assistants from the same country.
During the press conference that followed the match, the coach of the Moldovan national team Roberto Bordin said that it is his fault for such a result, stating that he failed to motivate the players enough and to prepare better tactically.
The next match of the national football team will take place on 31 March at the Zimbru stadium, where the Moldovan footballers will play against the Israeli national team.
