400 kV Vulcănești–Chișinău Power Line project progress analyzed by World Bank in Chișinău

Representatives of the World Bank Group conducted a mission in Chișinău to assess the priorities and implementation status of the 400 kV Vulcănești–Chișinău Overhead Power Line project.

During the visit, the delegation participated in technical meetings and field visits alongside all parties involved in the Power System Development Project. The project involves the construction of a 400 kV overhead power line between Vulcănești and Chișinău, as well as the modernization and expansion of two electric stations in the National Power System.

The mission members visited the Chișinău 330 kV Substation and the construction site, checking the progress and compliance with the established technical parameters.

The project is financed by the World Bank Group and implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova, through the Energy Projects Implementation Unit, with the final beneficiary Moldelectrica.
