Moldova's exports surpassed 64 billion lei in first eight months of 2025
The Republic of Moldova exported goods worth 64.4 billion lei in January - August 2025, according to data presented by the Customs Service.
The most exported products are led by fibers and cables, worth 5.1 billion lei. They are followed by sunflower seeds, valued at 3.6 billion lei, rapeseed at 2.3 billion lei, wheat at 2.3 billion lei, and grape wines, amounted to 1.7 billion lei.
The customs authority emphasizes that both agricultural and industrial products remain among the most competitive in foreign markets, contributing to the overall growth of Moldova's exports.
In recent years, the Republic of Moldova has seen a steady diversification of exports, benefiting from the preferential trade regime with the European Union and increased demand for agri-food products and light industry on international markets.
