Biggest German automotive group interested in cooperating with companies from Moldova
Chisinau, 26 August /MOLDPRES/ - The biggest provider of equipment for the automotive industry of Germany, the Eberspächer Group, is interested in initiating partnerships with Moldovan companies and in extending the activity on the market of Moldova.
At an event titled, Suppliers Day and Scoping Mission, organized by the Organization for Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM), Purem representatives of the Eberspächer Group presented sectors of interest in cooperation with the local companies.
A representative of the Eberspächer Group, Volker Cwielong, highlighted that Moldova had an attractive, accessible investment climate and well-trained human potential. ‘’Following this mission, we will assess possible partnerships and native industrial companies and we hope to identify partners and locations for extending the work of our group in Moldova,’’ Volker Cwielong said.
“ODIMM facilitates the international promotion of local businesses through access to new sales markets, upgrading and interconnection of local providers with foreign companies. At the same time, we develop a database of companies from Moldova with export potential and we back their integration in the regional and international value chain,’’ ODIMM director Iulia Costin said.
The event is initiated by the ODIMM, with the support of the project, Counseling Moldova’s Government in Economic Policies, implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation Moldova, with the financial support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
