Chisinau, 6 February /MOLDPRES/ - The single European currency on 7 February will cheapen by 0.31 lei against the Moldovan leu and will have an official exchange rate of 20.19 lei.
The National Bank of Moldova (BNM) established for the U.S. dollar a quotation similar to the today’s one – 18.76 lei.
The Romanian leu will depreciate by 0.07 lei to 4.11 lei. The Ukrainian hryvnia will maintain its price of 0.50 lei. The Russian rouble will cost, in continuation, 0.26 lei.
The official exchange rate represents the price of the Moldovan leu against the currencies of other countries. It is calculated based on the exchange rates established by the licenced banks in transactions of purchasing/sale of currencies, made with their clients and other banks.
