Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - Over 300 participants from all the branches of the Moldovan economy exhibited their goods at the 15th issue of the “Fabricat in Moldova” (Made in Moldova) National Exhibition, inaugurated at the Chisinau-based Moldexpo Centre and staged on 3-7 February. The event, which includes also 17 joint stands of district councils, is organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), in partnership with the Economics Ministry.

Attending the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Pavel Filip said: “I find out, from the very beginning, that I am agreeably surprised to see such a large number of participants in the present issue of the exhibition. This is a proof that people want to work.”Also, the PM stressed that the enforcement of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement between Moldova and the European Union would allow extending the export of Moldovan goods to European markets. Filip wished the participants success in setting new cooperation contacts, assuring them of support on behalf of the government.

For his part, CCI chairman Valeriu Lazar said the 15th issue of the Made in Moldova exhibition was marked by a diverse schedule of business with the slogan “Competitivitate – Performanţă şi Calitate” (Competitiveness – Performance and Quality). One of the priorities of the schedule is promoting the concept of “green economy” among enterprises, which provides for doing business with less noxious effects on the environment, rational use of energy efficiency resources in all sectors of the national economy and social life.

For the first time ever, the exhibition will be staged also in the online format, that will include all benefits of a real event, within which participants will have possibility to directly interact with potential clients and establish new cooperation contacts, Lazar added.

The schedule of the Made in Moldova exhibition includes three bilateral business forums: Moldovan-Romanian, Moldovan-Belarusian and Moldovan-Ukrainian, as well as more roundtables, seminars and workshops. On the same period, the National Employment Agency will organise a job fair.
