
Moldovagaz company started for first time gas storage in Ukraine
Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/- Moldovagaz Joint Stock Company started for the first time the gas storage in Ukraine through the Trans-Balkan section.
According to the public relations service of Moldovagaz, from 1.5 to three million cubic meters of gas will be transported daily for storage in underground storage to be consumed in the cold season.
“About 100 million cubic meters of gas are expected to be stored in October and November. If necessary, it will be supplied to consumers of Moldovagaz in December 2020 - February 2021 ", the quoted source said.
The total consumption of the Republic of Moldova (right bank of the Dniester) is about one billion cubic meters per year. Over 80% refers to the cold season.
