Moldovan economic development minister, UMAEF representatives discuss support for entrepreneurship from Moldova
Opportunities for supporting entrepreneurship from Moldova have been analyzed by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitization Doina Nistor with representatives of the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF).
"We emphasized the importance of startups as the engine of the economy, generating innovation, jobs, and competitiveness. Additionally, we highlighted the role of investors and our development partners, without whom this process would not be possible," stated Doina Nistor.
The official pointed out that, through UMAEF, authorities aim to contribute to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as large ones with export potential, while strengthening the competitiveness of Moldovan companies and integrating them into international markets.
"Following our discussions, we count on continuing and expanding partnerships and attracting as many enterprises as possible to benefit from this support. Thank you, UMAEF, for the continuous support provided to the business environment and the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization! Together, we can transform entrepreneurial ideas into success stories and accelerate the economic development of Moldova," concluded Doina Nistor.
The Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund is a regional fund supported by the U.S. Government, which aids in the implementation of more development projects in Moldova and Ukraine.
