
Moldovan MPs make amendments to state budget law for 2021
Chisinau, 14 October /MOLDPRES/ - The lawmakers today voted amendments made to the state budget law for 2021 in the last reading.
Thus, the state budget revenues were increased by 3.7 billion lei (8.9 per cent), the expenses – by 1.2 billion lei (2.2 per cent); respectively, the budget deficit decreased by 2.5 billion lei (16.8 per cent).
The revised parameters of the state budget for 2021 are as follows: revenues – amounting to 45.1 billion lei, expenses – worth 57.2 billion lei, budget deficit – 12.1 billion lei.
The biggest increases of expenditures regard the programme in the roads’ sector, national fund of development of agriculture and rural environment, local roads’ restoration, supplying emergency funds of the government, health care, staff expenses.
As a result of the amendments made, the national public budget is amended as follows: revenues – amounting to 72.8 billion lei (+8.8 per cent), expenses – worth amounting to 85.5 billion lei (4.4 per cent), balance (budget deficit) – amounting to 12.7 billion lei.
