National Bank of Moldova puts into circulation three coins dedicated to 30th anniversary of Moldova's Independence

Chisinau, 26 August /MOLDPRES/ - The National Bank of Moldova (BNM) puts into circulation, starting from today, as payment means or on numismatic purposes, a string of commemorative coins dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of Moldova’s Independence. They will complete the series Historical Events.

There are three coins with significance of a historical period of 30 years: past, present and future. Each coin contains famous titles of poems which became hits.

The coins are made of silver and each of them has a nominal value of 50 lei and a number of 500 copies. The graphic design was made by fine artist Simion Zamsa.
