Public Services Agency: 2,478 economic agents from Transnistrian region registered
As of 31 December 2025, the registers of the Public Services Agency listed 2,478 economic agents headquartered in the Transnistrian region, either permanently registered or temporarily recorded.
In 2023, there were 2,371 registered economic agents (of which 1,931 under provisional registration and 440 permanently registered), while in 2025 the number increased to 2,478 economic agents (of which 2,012 with provisional registration and 466 permanent). The growth is moderate but steady (+107 companies in two years, approximately +4.5%), which confirms that even under the barriers imposed by the authorities in Tiraspol, economic agents in the region ensure their operation through the legal and administrative instruments of the Republic of Moldova.
In 2025, economic agents from the region paid about 166.7 million lei in customs duties for the import of goods. The figure reflects not only compliance with the national legal framework, but also the strengthening of the single economic space of the Republic of Moldova.
Economic agents from the left bank of the Dniester and from the municipality of Bender continue to carry out their external trade activities on the basis of certificates of origin of goods issued in accordance with international standards.
According to data provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Customs Service, in accordance with the rules of the World Trade Organization, the following types of certificates were issued in 2025:
EUR.1: 2,009 certificates;
Form C: 1,090 certificates;
CT-1: 775 certificates;
Form A: 20 certificates.
