Moldovan PM to pay official visit to Bucharest

The Government of the Republic of Moldova

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu will pay an official visit to Bucharest on 31 March 31, 2026.

During the visit, the PM will take part in the Romania Government Roundtable Conference – an event that brings together political and institutional leaders, as well as representatives of the business community from Romania, Europe and the United States, in order to discuss priorities related to security, stability and the economic development of the South-Eastern Europe region.

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu will have meetings with President of Romania Nicusor Dan, as well as with the Prime Minister of Romania Ilie Bolojan. The discussions will focus on strengthening the bilateral cooperation and advancing joint projects, particularly in such areas as energy, infrastructure and European integration, with a direct impact on the citizens of both states.

Additionally, the Moldovan prime minister will meet representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania, in order to promote investment opportunities in Moldova.
