Yellow Code for heavy rain, thunderstorms in Moldova on June 2
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for June 2 across the entire territory of Moldova, for the time interval between 08:00 and 23:00.
The Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring informs that scattered short-term showers are expected, especially in the central and southern regions of the country, with periodically more intense downpours.
According to meteorologists, accumulated rainfall amounts will reach 15–45 l/m². Locally, these phenomena will be accompanied by thunderstorms and strengthening winds, with gusts of up to 15–20 m/s.
