
Group of citizens awarded state distinctions in Moldova
Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon handed high state distinctions to a group of citizens, earlier awarded under presidential decrees, at an official ceremony today, the presidential press service has reported.
Thus, orders and medals were offered to more citizens of Moldova working in diverse sectors: medical employees, people from the social assistance field, sports entrepreneurs, engineers, veterans of the prosecution bodies, representatives of construction materials industries, as well as persons who contribute to the development of the Moldovan state.
The distinctions were awarded as a token of appreciation for long and prodigious work in the sectors of health care, residents’ social assistance, merits in the development and propagation of physical culture and sport, high professional qualities and intense activity in the social sector.
The head of state expressed to those present respect and gratitude for the assiduous labour and wished them success and performances in continuation.
