
Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense established ways for coordinating actions
Chisinau, 3 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, jointly with MAEIE state secretaries paid a visit to the Ministry of Defense. They exchanged views with Minister Antolie Nosatii and the ministry's leadership on ways to strengthen the defense sector by accessing external opportunities, the MAEIE press service has reported.
"Our country's neutrality also implies a dynamic agenda of international interaction, and the diplomacy of the Republic of Moldova continues to cooperate with the National Army in its reform, modernization and transformation efforts in order to respond to new challenges to the country's security and actively participate in ensuring European and regional security, so that Moldova can ensure the protection of its citizens and become a security provider, " Popescu said.
During the discussions, the parties established ways to coordinate actions to obtain the expertise and assistance needed to achieve our security and defense objectives.
