Moldovan PM says attack on behalf of crime rings takes place, only vote can defeat electoral fraud
Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has urged Moldova’s citizens to participate in the runoff of the presidential elections, noting that each vote decides the future and the way of development of Moldova. The PM exercised his right to vote at the polling station from the Codru town, Chisinau municipality, the government’s communication reported.
„We elect the leader who will lead us towards prosperity, to the European Union and a better living here, at home. I voted for peace and for our freedom to edify the future in Moldova,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.
The PM stressed that, given that the electoral fraud threatened the good holding of the elections, the people’s mobilization stayed important for defending, through honest vote, the freedom and democracy. At the same time, according to the PM, the Interior Ministry and the other institutions stay involved in the good carrying out of the electoral process and prevention of its rigging.
„An attack on behalf of the crime rings takes place. It is important that we mobilize at vote! Only the vote can defeat the electoral fraud. Go to vote!’’ the prime minister said.
Moldova’s citizens with right to vote today elect the country’s president for a four-year mandate. Additional information on the elections can be found on the webpage of the Central Electoral Commission, www.cec.md.
