
Moldovan president attends conference of World Assembly for Women, WAW! 2022
Chisinau, Dec. 3 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu participated today in the conference of the World Assembly for Women, WAW! 2022, organized by the Government of Japan, the presidential press service has reported.
In the message addressed to the conference participants, the head of state shared the experience of the Republic of Moldova in promoting women in politics and in public positions.
"I met active and involved women who firmly speak out in public life in different countries and thus contribute to the good of their societies. The practice of our country, but also of other states, shows us that the political involvement of women ensures a better representation of society's interests", said Maia Sandu.
