Moldovan president discusses with European Council President

Chisinau, 22 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today discussed, in videoconference format, with European Council President Charles Michel, the presidential press service has reported.

The conversation was focused on more subjects on Moldova’s agenda with the European Union, including the march of the important reforms, strengthening the resilience of the country’s energy sector, as well as the preparation for the Eastern Partnership’s Summit, due in Brussels in next December.

European Council President Michel reconfirmed the European institutions’ commitment to support the Moldovan authorities on the way of the country’s transformation, including their firm actions in the field of justice reform and fighting corruption.
