Moldovan president has meeting with PM of Luxembourg
Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has started her visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos with a meeting with Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel.
According to the presidential press service, the interlocutors discussed the security in our region, marked by war, the support needed by Moldova in the context of the energy crisis, as well as the cooperation between the two countries for the advancement of Moldova’s European agenda. ‘’I thanked PM Bettel for the support provided in the humanitarian and defence sector, as well as for the backing of our European integration,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
At the same time, the head of state reiterated the invitation made to the Luxembourg prime minister to come to Chisinau on 1 June, in order to participate in a meeting of the European Political Community.
President Maia Sandu on 17-19 January participates in the 53rd meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. At the event, the head of state has scheduled meetings with world leaders and high-ranking officials from more countries, as well as representatives of the business environment.
