President met with about a hundred children and young people, participants of second edition of DOR camp
President Maia Sandu met today with participants of DOR camp, who gathered at the presidential residence in Condrița.
“In their eyes, I saw curiosity, joy and the desire to discover Moldova as it is. I told them that wherever they are, this is their home and we always welcome them with open arms,” emphasized the head of state.
DOR is a program dedicated to both diaspora children and young people as well as those from the Republic of Moldova, organized by the Government of the Republic of Moldova, through the Diaspora Relations Office. The program aims to maintain the identity, linguistic, and cultural connection with the Republic of Moldova, as well as preserve national traditions and values for the younger generations. Starting from this year, considering the increasing number of participation requests, the camp is organized in two editions.
