Moldovan government's state secretary for reintegration pays visit to localities on Cocieri plateau
Government’s State Secretary for Reintegration Roman Rosca has paid a working visit to the localities of Corjova, Cocieri, and Molovata Noua. During the visit, the official discussed with representatives of local public administrations and educational institutions current problems and development priorities of the communities in this area.
In Corjova, a working meeting was held with the administration of the Mihai Eminescu Theoretical Lyceum and representatives of the local public administration, in the context of preparations for the new academic year. Particular attention was given to the growing number of applications on behalf of children from the Transnistrian region who wish to continue their studies in educational institutions subordinated to the constitutional authorities, as well as to the need to identify solutions to ensure appropriate study conditions and their integration.
In Cocieri and Molovata Noua, discussions with the mayors focused on the current situation on the Cocieri plateau, the dynamics of infrastructure projects’ implementation and the necessary measures to improve the living conditions of residents. Roman Rosca reiterated the willingness of the Reintegration Policies Bureau to maintain a permanent dialogue with local authorities and to support the promotion of projects aimed at community development and addressing the problems they face.
